2. They do not require heat to shrink and are installed by simply unwrapping the core, allowing the tube to contract around the cable or connector.

Heat Shrinkable Terminal and Intermediate Joint:

 

Heat shrink cable accessories, commonly known as heat shrink cable head, are widely used in the middle connection and terminal of crosslinked cables or oil-immersed cables with voltage levels of 35KV and below.

1. Heat shrink cable accessories are made of a special polymer material that shrinks when heat is applied, typically using a heat gun or other heating device.

2. They require heat to activate the shrinking process and provide a tight, secure seal around cables and connectors.

3. Heat shrink cable accessories are commonly used in a wide range of applications to provide insulation, strain relief, and protection against environmental factors like moisture and corrosion.

4. Compared with the traditional cable accessories, it has the characteristics of small size, light weight, safety and reliability, easy installation and cheap price.

2)Installation size: be sure to strictly follow the installation instructions provided by the additional manufacturer, especially the installation size of the terminal body.
